Our little love bug is officially 7 months old. I can't believe it but this time with Finley feels like it is moving even faster then it did with Brady. He is just the sweetest, happiest little guy most of the time. The only time he really gets fussy is when he is sleepy. He is not a good sleeper and seems to be afraid that he is going to miss something. He hardly sleeps any during the day and at night he is starting to sleep for a few hours and then wakes up and wants to eat. I just can't stand to hear him cry, so I usually go get him right away. He is still nursing about 4-5 times a day, but is now officially eating baby food for every meal. We even introduced some organic yogurt made for babies, and he absolutely loves it! He is still loving his Baby Mum Mums too.
We just switched over to size 3 diapers, and he is wearing 6-9 month clothing. We did not have a well check appointment this month, so I don't have an update on that. He is definitely growing because, he is getting longer in all his pajamas and we have moved from 6 months to 9 months in them. I just love watching this boy grow and interact with him big brother.

Spring Photo Shoot
A few weeks back we had some pics taken to capture Finley at 6 months and Brady at 3 years. These were taken by Jenna Bowen at the Horse Shoe on the University of South Carolina's campus. It was a beautiful spring day and both of my boys were all smiles. I could not believe how many cute pics she got in just about 30 minutes! I must admit I have the cutest boys in the whole world! :)

Happy Half Birthday Finley!
Already half a year has passed since our sweet boy was born. It seems like just yesterday I was being admitted to be induced. It is amazing how different our two boys are. Finley is definitely a more challenging baby. He is not as content as Brady was, and simply must be held all the time. With that being said, I could not imagine our lives without that beautiful baby boy.
Finley is wearing size 6-9 month clothes and is still in size 2 diapers. Once we use what we have we will be moving to size 3. If lucky, he will nap for 15-20 minutes a couple of times a day. He goes to bed by 8pm and usually sleeps till around 7am. Occasionally he wakes to eat, but will go back to sleep. He is sleeping in his crib every night. I am so thankful for this. We have introduced sweet potatoes, squash, zucchini, bananas and apples. We also started giving him the banana baby Mum Mums, he really likes those because he can hold them. He still nurses 5 times a day and takes 1 bottle while I am at work.
At his check-up he weighed 15lb 1.5oz (10th percentile), was 25.5 inches tall (10th percentile), with a head circumference of 17.25 (50th percentile). He can't quite sit up by himself yet, but will probably be doing it soon. He loves to get on all 4's and bounce, like he is trying to crawl. I am not ready for that yet! He is more interested in his toys now and is constantly grabbing for everything. I just adore watching both of my boys together, and love to see them smiling and laughing at one another.

Happy Easter from my Little Peeps
This was the first year that we dyed Easter eggs with Brady. We kept it simple with plain dye and a few stickers. I think his favorite part was seeing the water fizzle and change colors when we dropped the color tabs in. We use something similar when he takes a bath, so he had seen water change colors before. The hardest part was keeping him from touching him while they were drying.
On Friday we dyed the eggs and on Saturday we decided to take them in the backyard and hide them. Brady had found some eggs at school on Thursday, so he was used to the idea. However, when he found each egg he threw it in the basket, cracking each and every one. Oh well, it's not like we planned on keeping them forever. :)
On Easter morning both boys woke up to a surprise left by none other then the Easter Bunny himself. Brady got some new Mickey underpants, some Mickey pajamas, cars and of course candy. Finley got some toys, a new outfit and some pacifier clips. Happy Easter to all our family and friends!!!

Mmmmm Sweet Potatoes
Finley is 5 Months!
My sweet, spoiled boy turned 5 months old on March 3rd. I swear he gets cuter every day! He is just the happiest and sweetest baby, as long as you are holding him. He is currently trying to put anything he gets his hands on into his mouth. Not sure if it is early teething or not, Brady was almost a year old before he got his 1st tooth. Finley is always smiling and trying to jump around. He loves to be talked to and sung to. He especially loves when his Big Brother talks and plays with him. He also has learned to like bath time finally. He is still not a fan of cereal, but we started giving him some sweet potatoes this week and they were a hit! He will play in his bouncy seat, jumper, swing and on the floor for short periods at a time.
He is wearing size 6 month clothes and is still in size 2 diapers. We don't go back to the doctor till April, so I will update all of his growth stats then. He usually goes to bed in his crib at 8pm, but usually ends up in the bed with us at some point. On a rare occasion he will sleep all night in his crib. At least it's a start! As far as napping goes, they are short and sweet. He is definitely a cat napper, and prefers to sleep in your arms. Hey, they are only babies once, right?!?! We sure do love snuggling this little guy.
No 5 month sticker pics because this sticker was missing from our pack. i will pick back up with those at 6 months. I did catch some really cute pics of him recently to share.
