Thanksgiving and Tree Decorating

I know it's a little late but Happy Thanksgiving! I just want to say that I am so blessed to have so many wonderful things in my life including my wonder hubby and son!!! I am thankful for them all! We stayed at our home this year and had Joe's parents over for Thanksgiving dinner. We missed the rest of our family but it was nice to avoid the traveling. We had a big meal and just relaxed until it was time for Black Friday shopping. My in-laws were so gracious to stay overnight at our house with Brady so that Joe and I could head out to shop. Shopping was crazy, but as always a fun adventure. We got all that we intended to get so I would call that a success! We headed out at 11:40 pm and got back home at 7:00 am! The time flew by but we were exhausted when we finally got home.

Today we finally got motivated to put up the Christmas tree. After a small snafu with the lights, we eventually got it put up and decorated. I have to say it was a little more difficult decorating a tree with a toddler. I can only hope that the tree will stay in one piece until Christmas day. Brady has decided that he likes to take the ornaments off the tree, so we will have our hands full for the next month with him.

Brady the DareDevil

This is Brady's new obsession! He loves jumping off the couch onto us. He also has to have the element of surprise. If you put your arms up like you are going to catch him or if you are looking at him he will wait and try to catch you off guard. He will literally do this over and over again. He is such a mess!

Ready for Christmas.........

Brady and I are sooo ready for Christmas. I couldn't talk Joe into putting up the tree before Thanksgiving, but he did give in and let me buy a little tree for Brady's room. So of course we had to come straight home and decorate it. I know he is still a little young, but he loves to look at trees outside and was excited to see all the trees lit up at Wal-Mart. We bought him a small, 2 foot, white tree and bought just a few red decorations, so that he could have an all red and white tree!

I just had to share this adorable picture of Brady right before he woke up from his nap, I know one day he will probably be a little angry with me for posting this, but as a mom I just can't resist. haha!

Ok, so these last pics just make me sad that my little baby is getting so big, so fast! :(
