We got tickets to see the San Diego Chargers and Tennessee Titans for Sunday, December 8. I have been a huge Philip Rivers fan since he played for NC State. Our seats were in the upper section but we were able to get pretty close for pictures before the game.

It's been awhile since we've updated. We've both been busy with work. I will not be traveling anymore for work and have been placed at Mission Hospitals and Transylvania Community Hospital, which I am very thankful for. Hero is getting big, we can't believe we've had him for a whole year now.

Hero is Ready for Football Season

I guess Hero is going to be a Carolina Panthers fan!! He's not fond of his hat yet, but give him some time and he'll get use to it!!

Playing In the Yard

Hero got a chain so that he can run around the yard for some extra exercise. At first he was a little leary that he was all alone. But I think once he gets use to it, he will love it.

Joe finally decided to sell his car and get a new truck!! After months of thinking about which make and model to get, he finally decided on the 2007 Chevy Colorado!

Braves vs. Red Sox

June 2007

June was a pretty exciting month for us. We had our yearly vacation at Myrtle Beach and ended in Atlanta. Joe finally got to see his Boston Red Sox and I also got to see the Braves and Jeff Francoeur my favorite player. Unfortunately for me the Braves lost 11-0. It was pretty exciting because we did get to see the Red Sox hit 5 home runs. We were glad to get home to see our baby, little Hero. Luckily, my friend Brandy watched him for us and took excellent care of him. He also got to spend some time with her babies Tritan and Hemi.

I started a new job on June 25th for AIM Healthcare Services. What I do is basically go into different hospitals and recover money where the insurance companies have overpaid. I have three weeks of training in Nasvhille, TN before I start working on my own at Transylvania Community Hospital, McDowell Hospital, Spruce Pine Community Hospital, and Watuaga in Boone. Wish me luck!!

But the best part of the month was celebrating our 1 year anniversary on June 17th. We are so excited and can't wait to spend many more together.

WCU Graduation

Yes I finally graduated, May 5, 2007 from Western Carolina University with a Bachelors of Science in Health Information Administration. I have been interviewing for a few positions but I am still waiting to hear back. The next step will be for me to take my credentialing exam to become a Registered Health Information Administrator, which will probably happen in the next couple of months. I am just glad that it is over so that I can spend more time with my wonderful husband and my little dog Hero.

Las Vegas

On Thursday April 5, 2007 Joe and I had our first flight when we flew to Las Vegas. It was very fun but a little scarey too. We had a great time we stayed in the Excalibur Hotel. I even won a Texas Holdem Poker Tournament with 25 players. It was pretty exciting. We are hoked now and can't wait to go back!

At Hero's 4 month vet appointment he weighed 4 pounds and 9 ounces. He is very hyper and loves to play fetch with his mommy and daddy. We are still working on the potty training.
