16 Weeks

I had my 16 week visit this week on April 24th which was pretty uneventful. The baby's heartbeat was in the 140's, which based on the old wives tale sounds like another boy.  I guess we will find out for sure soon!  No ultrasound this time so no fun baby pics to share.

12 Weeks

I am a little behind on posting my pregnancy updates, so bare with me for a few and we will get caught up to date. I will try to do an update after each month with a picture of my growing belly and info we get from our prenatal visits. My 12 week appointment was on March 29th. They did the Nuchal Translucency screen where they do an ultrasound to measure the babies neck. This measurement can be a marker for Down's Syndrome, but our baby's measurement was perfectly normal. I opted out of any other genetic screenings just like we did with Brady. My appointment was early in the morning so baby was not very active during the ultrasound and had a heartbeat of 150. I have been pretty lucky again to not have any morning sickness but I was really exhausted during all of the first trimester. It was a lot harder to sneak in naps when chasing around a 2 year old! But I did go to bed many nights right after Brady at 8:30pm! I am looking forward to the second trimester and getting my energy back!

Coming in October of 2012..........

Brady is going to be a Big Brother!!!

Baby Hudson #2 is due October 6th.  This is his/hers first pictures at 8 weeks.  My first appointment was on February 29th.  Baby looked good and had a strong heartbeat of 174 bpm.

Even though mommy hadn't gained any weight you can still see a little pudge here at 8 weeks!

A Day at the Park

It had been a while since we took Brady to the park, since we didn't have any plans we decided to go yesterday. It was a beautiful day, nice and warm but no humidity, so the park was packed. Brady started off on the short slide and advanced his way to a bigger one and even did a little swinging. He is so funny to watch on the slides. He makes the cutest expressions!

Easter Weekend

Brady and I traveled to NC for the weekend for Easter and to attend Aniston's 3rd Birthday party. We had a full weekend trying to get around and visit everyone. On Saturday afternoon we headed to Hendersonville to Hands On: A Children's Gallery for Aniston's party. This place was so neat, they had all kinds of exhibits and things for kids to look at and interact with. First thing Brady spotted was the American flag, and that is mostly where we stayed. He had a good time running around checking things out until it was time to sit down for snacks and cupcakes, at this point he became a handful running around and trying to get the balloons.

Saturday evening we went by Grandmother and Papaw Young's for a little visit. Brady really enjoyed running around in their yard. He liked climbing and walking on the rock work and playing with the water hose. Papaw even got out Cousin Andrew's old wagon for him to play with. Running around wild at 7pm, you can definitely tell that he is all BOY!

On Sunday we had a nice Easter lunch at our other Mamaw and Papaw's house. Brady really enjoyed hunting Easter eggs with Aunt Jordan and Uncle Jake. The food was so yummy, I enjoyed more then my fair share!

After lunch we headed back to SC to see Daddy and of course to see if the Easter Bunny had come. He did!

Hope all of our friends and family had a wonderful Easter!!!

We're In Trouble Now

Brady's First Wedding

My cousin, Jeremy, got married yesterday and his ceremony was at this beautiful garden close to where we live. I was worried about taking Brady but since everyone wanted to see him, we went ahead and took him. He did pretty good during the outdoor ceremony. He and his cousin, Tanner, ate a bunch of teddy grahams and Brady went through two drinks in 15 minutes, but we made it! haha!

The reception was on the the same property inside and Brady had no desire to stay inside, he wanted to be outside looking at the cars in the parking lot, so that is where he and Joe stayed. Overall, I can't complain he did very well considering we were there for almost 2 hours. He is only 2 years old so I didn't expect him to sit and behave like an adult.
