Pumpkin Patch Fun

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love pumpkin patches, cooler weather, and Halloween. I just can't resist dressing my boys in cute pumpkin shirts and taking them out to one of our local pumpkin patches. Harmon's Farm that we have visited in the past has closed so we visited another nearby, Clinton Sease Farms. They have a cool corn maze that I can't wait to visit once the boys are a little bigger. They also have some really fun slides, that Brady had a blast on.

Finley's First Birthday

We had a very low key party for Finley's first birthday. He was not especially fond of the smash cake but he did enjoy the cupcakes. The balloons were also a hit!

Fall is in the Air

I am so excited to share our fall family mini session that was taken by the talented Ashley Uhl. I am always amazed at how good our pictures turn out even when our children refuse to cooperate. In a few of these pictures I was literally having to hold Brady down from running around like a wild Indian. I am so blessed to spend my life with these 3 sweet boys!

11 Months!!!!

We are rapidly approaching this little guy's first birthday, only two more weeks! I can't believe how fast he is growing, it's like I blink and another month is gone. Finley is wide open from the time he wakes up until he goes to bed. He is all over the place and in to everything. It's funny how different kids are. Brady was so good and didn't touch things on bookshelves and Finley can't keep his hands off! Fin is always happy and loves to interact and play with his big brother. He is starting to enjoy watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and a few other of the Disney cartoons. He loves to play with blocks, balls, tools, and cars. A typical boy!!!

We have started letting him try most any foods that aren't too hard. I also gave him a little juice and water out of his sippy cup, which he loved! I think we finally found a sippy cup that he likes, which will be great with the upcoming transition to whole milk. He is mostly eating regular food, still taking one bottle of formula a day and nursing in the morning and at night. No new teeth (still 3 up top and 2 on bottom). I really love that little toothy grin he has now!

He is wearing size 12 months clothing and size 3 diapers. I am still letting him wear some 9 month summer clothes, because it is still 90 degrees here and we didn't have hardly any summer clothes left over from Brady in size 12 months. So come on fall, we are ready for overalls, sweaters and boots! I don't have any official weight/height stats, we will go back for his 12 month checkup in early October.

Back to School

Brady is back in preschool to start his third year. He is adjusting well and already bringing home precious artwork. The first few days he didn't want me to leave him, but now he seems excited to go each day. He is going 4 days a week, which will give his grandparents a short break!
