Random Happenings

The Hudson's have had an uneventful month or so since my last post. We are staying busy doing household tasks and playing outside enjoying this nice weather, minus the terrible pollen we are having! Joe has painted the walls going up our stairwell and our guest bathroom. Since we have been having weather in the 70-80's we have been trying to get outside and play before it gets too hot! Brady just loves being outside playing ball in the backyard, getting in the sandbox, feeding the ducks at the pond, and of course running through the sprinkler!

We have also been watching some NC State Basketball!!! They have made it to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament and we are so excited! They play again tomorrow evening against the #2 seed, Kansas, to get to the Elite Eight. I am so proud of this team they went from being on the bubble to the last 16 standing. Go Pack!!!

2 Year Checkup

I took Brady to the doctor last week for his big 2 year checkup. He weighed 30lbs 10oz (75th percentile), was 35 inches tall (75th percentile), and his head circumference was 20 3/8 in (off the charts as usual)! I cannot believe our little boy is already 2! He seems to be on track with everything. He only had to have 1 shot and his finger pricked to check for anemia, and no more shots (except the flu shot) until he gets ready to start school! Yay! We also don't go back until he is 3!

Brady is still going to preschool 2 half days a week, and he is doing so good. He now tells me bye when I leave and doesn't shed a tear! I am so glad that he gets some interactions with other kids!

I will leave you with a few pictures of our big 2 year old! On warm days we have been trying to feed the ducks at the pond and let him play with his sandbox, that Santa brought. His Daddy brought him home some flags the other day from work and he is in heaven. This child just loves waving a flag!

Brady's 2nd Birthday Party

I am a few weeks behind but Brady had a wonderful Birthday and got to spend it with his family and friends. He was much more into the presents and socializing with his guests this year! He even got to play with his BFF, Aniston, and his cousins, Mason and Tanner. I was so busy with the snacks and talking with everyone that I didn't take too many pictures myself. Luckily Kelly took a bunch of good ones!

Happy 2nd Birthday Brady

Tomorrow is Brady's 2nd Birthday! I can't believe we are already celebrating 2 whole years of blessings! Boy the time flies when you are having fun. We are heading to NC tomorrow to celebrate his birthday with our friends and family. I will try to post more pictures soon! But for now check out a picture from Brady's birth and at 1 years old.

Happy New Year, Welcome 2012

I would like to say the Hudson's did something exciting to bring in the new year, but it was quite the opposite. We had a nice evening in relaxing and enjoying each other's company. But of course to me, that is the best way to celebrate! We ordered some take out and watched a movie after Brady went to bed and watched the ball drop in Time Square. We had some neighbors shooting off fireworks so we took Brady outside in the backyard and watched them from there. We even had a few small cheesy ones that Joe did in the yard for Brady to see. If was funny to watch Brady as he watched in awe. He jumped at every crackle but smiled and pointed in the sky. Earlier in the day I took Brady for a walk in the neighborhood while Joe washed our cars. This was the first time I actually let Brady walk, and we left the stroller behind. Happy New Year to all of our friends and family. I hope 2012 is just as wonderful as 2011! Here are a few pictures of our sweet boy!
