Finley Turns 3 Months

It's amazing how fast time flies after you have children. It seems like just yesterday that I was still pregnant and waiting for our sweet boy to arrive and now he is already 3 months. We don't have a checkup until 4 months so I don't have any accurate weight/height updates, but he is definitely growing.

Finley is wearing size 2 diapers and is in 3-6 or 6 month clothes. He is still nursing every 2-3 hours during the day. He isn't the greatest sleeper, and here lately he has wanted to nurse a lot during the night. I hope that it is just a growth spurt and he will start sleeping more during the night soon.

He just started rolling from his back to his tummy. He usually does it on the couch or bed. He is not a huge fan of tummy time, but he loves laying on his back and playing on his new play mat that Santa brought him. He has also got more interested in the toys that hang on his mat and also on his bouncy seat, and he loves to reach and grab them.

He loves for you to talk to him he will smile and coo and try to laugh. He is such a sweet boy! He adores his big brother, Brady, and the feeling is mutual. Brady is always talking and loving on him.

Christmas Eve and Morning 2012

We had Christmas Eve lunch with the Hudson's and it was so nice to not cook anything, especially since I have been sick. The food was so yummy, and of course we all got some great gifts. Brady tore thorough his and Finley's gifts and was ready to play. That evening we headed back home so that we could bake cookies and get ready for Santa. Brady and Finley must have been good boys because Santa came and brought them loads of goodies!

My maternity leave ended on Christmas so I had to go back to work the next day. We went ahead and took down the decorations. Now we are trying to get back on routine with Mommy back to work.

Christmas and Finley's First Trip to NC

The weekend before Christmas we headed to NC to celebrate with our family there. This was Finley's first trip to the mountains and first time meeting some of his grandparents. Unfortunately I got really sick with the worst sore throat of my life and ended up having to go to urgent care. We have all had a cold off and on for a few weeks now. I wish I would have taken more pics but between keeping up with the boys and feeling under the weather, it just didn't happen. I am glad we got to visit with our family, it is getting harder to make the trip now with two little ones.
