Father/Son Day at the Park

I had a lunch date with a friend yesterday so Joe and Brady got to enjoy some father/son time. They headed out to the park and then went to Chick-fil-a for lunch. Here are a few pictures Joe took at the park. I can remember taking Brady to the park for the first time when he was really small and couldn't do anything without our help, now he runs all over the place like he owns it! Time flies by too fast!

24 Weeks

I can't believe this pregnancy is flying by so fast. I had my 24 week check up today and baby looks great! He is measuring 1 week ahead and weighing around 1lb 12 oz, which is in the 60th percentile. I guess only time will tell if he will be as big as Big Brother, Brady! I had an ultrasound, but the baby was not so cooperative, so my pictures did not turn out that great. His heart rate was good and strong at 141 bpm. He was in breech presentation with his feet down, but the doctor said they don't really worry until closer to 32 weeks.  Thanks to our vacation, mommy is now up to 14lbs gained.  I sure hope the weight comes off as easy as it did with Brady!

6 Year Anniversary

Our Anniversary is officially tomorrow on the 17th, but we are celebrating it a day early so that we can celebrate Father's Day tomorrow. I decided to go through our thousands of pictures and pick out one of my favorite pictures of us for each year we've been together. Joe and I met on a blind date in February of 2004, got engaged in April of 2005 and married June 17, 2006, so we've been together almost 8.5 years.
These past 8.5 years have been the best of life and each year just gets better and better, especially since we have added Brady and patiently waiting the arrival of Baby #2 in early October. I couldn't have asked for a better best friend and soul mate to spend my life with!

Vacation Part 3

We took a boat out on the St. Johns River to fish. This was Brady's first boat experience and he did really well considering we were out for almost 7 hours. He did take some books to look at it and of course our Mickey Mouse DVDs to pass some time. We even stopped and docked and got out at a little restaurant to eat breakfast. It was located near some springs and we were able to make our own pancakes on our tabletop griddle. The guys caught several fish, and they had the most beautiful colors on their body. We had a great time and the scenery was just gorgeous. We saw a bunch of fish, some alligators, turtles and many birds.

Vacation Part 2

The condo we stayed at was in a beautiful community with some great amenities. There were several pools including a zero entry pool, kiddie pool, and a fun play area. Brady really enjoyed the water but he still prefers the pool over the ocean.
